Air Maui was very professional yet personable. Every step was clearly explained. Worth every penny!!! Vince, our pilot, was very knowledgeable about the island and made the experience calm yet exciting. Lots of smiles and great perspectives of the island that you cannot get anywhere else. Flying through the mountains of Maui is a magical experience. We went in March and saw many whales from the air splashing around!

Amazing views - highly recommended. Due to weather conditions we were given the option of replacing Haleakala with a trip to the neighboring island. Glad we did as we saw impressive gorges and waterfalls over the water between the islands were able look down on manta rays and a whale with her calf beneath her flipper and on a 360 degree double rainbow, while the pilot played over the intercom "Somewhere over the rainbow..."!

Dylan was an excellent pilot and tour guide. It was the best experience on our trip. If you are thinking of something exciting to do, this would be it.

Capt Kirk was a great pilot and the experience was great. We descended in close to the waterfalls, and even saw a whale and calf swimming next to a pod of dolphins. Written March 12, 2023

So awesome - well worth it. Great tour / great views / great commentary from Nathan / along with a great soundtrack! Well worth the oceanfront landing just for the views coming in and taking off!

The pilot Cameron was very informative and friendly. The views were amazing. Fantastic to see whales from above.

This is the only way to reliably take the most incredible photos of the stunning waterfalls and beautiful landscape. We even saw a pod of migrating whales. Not for the faint of heart - but I would have been annoyed if all of my stunning photos had window reflections in them. Great way to go - and safety is a priority. Would definitely do it again. They also give you the option of buying the digital heli footage which is completely unobstructed and includes the commentary on what you’re are seeing.

It was fantastic saw amazing sites. We saw whales and the pilot was great. We would definitely do this again. It was so much fun.

Our pilot Nathan was great, and we loved the ride!! It was our first helicopter trip, and is definitely wowed us.

Kurt our Pilot was amazing. We saw multiple Islands in 45 minutes. He was very competent and funny and made us have the best time. Totally worth it.
